Circuit makes simple high-voltage inverter Focus: A simple 370-W, three-phase inverter circuit uses a low voltage bipolar transistor to drive a high-side MOSFET. In addition to its simplicity, this inverter design features faster turn on and turn off than inverters using optocoupler drive, which minimizes dead-time concerns. This inverter has been used in three-phase motor drives up to 750 W.
