Converter Synchronization Provides Design Flexibility

Focus:

Two PWM-controlled power converters can be synchronized by controlling the slope of the internal voltage ramp in the synchronized power converter. This technique enables synchronization when a PWM controller IC doesn't allow access to its timing capacitor, while permitting features like programmable deadtime.
