An alternate way of driving LEDs Focus: Ac-driven LEDs are emerging as an alternative to conventional LEDs that require dc power
sources. The new light sources can eliminate the need for ac-dc power supplies in offline LED
lighting applications. AC-driven LED sources use either special AC-driven emitters or using
