A design based on the LNK306DN LinkSwitch-TN chip implements a universal input, 10-V typ. 300-mA output power supply for driving a 3-W LED, halogen-replacement bulb. This nonisolated buck converter design is small enough to be housed within a standard GU10 lamp base.
