Mounting Hybrid DC-DC Converters, including Thermal Considerations Focus: This 6 and a half min. minute video describes mounting techniques and thermal management
considerations that apply when mounting the company's hybrid dc-dc converters to a
customer's pc board. The company's packaging options including down-leaded, side-leaded,
and up-leaded as well as flange or non-flange options are discussed. The presenter
explains how these connect to the customer's pc board and offers tips for getting the best
thermal transfer from the hybrid to the PCB or a heat-spreader like an aluminum plate.
Dead-bug mounting is also discussed. Video starts by describing the basic construction of
