Cohn Calls on Current Engineers To Inspire The Next Generation

In a very entertaining and thought-provoking fashion Dr. Cohn discusses the “critical need to get U.S. young people interested in engineering careers.” He talks about the attitudes of young people toward engineering, particularly their misconceptions about the profession, and how those misconceptions keep them away from careers in engineering.

Cohn also discusses how kids’ concerns about societal issues can be used to motivate them to consider engineering as a profession, and how the current generation of working engineers can inspire young people to become the next generation of engineers.
